Nellapima began with a simple belief: that what touches your baby’s skin in those first moments should feel just as extraordinary. We have always been more than a label. We are a family, and the care we put into that belief lives in every stitch we sew.

Our story starts with a moment any grandmother would know by heart. When Marianella welcomed her first grandchild, that little one gave her the name the whole family still uses today, Nella. It was that baby who set her on the path to create clothing that feels as gentle as it is beautiful, made to last well beyond the early days.
Long before Nellapima had a name, Nella was growing up on the northern coast of Peru, surrounded by the region's traditions and crops. She came to know many of them, but Peruvian Pima cotton stayed with her. Her family knew its softness and strength firsthand, along with the quiet luster and gentle feel that set it apart from any other cotton.
Founded in 2016, Nellapima was born from Marianella's vision: to share the Peruvian Pima cotton she had known and loved her whole life with a new generation of families. Alongside her niece and partner, Giulliana, she built a family brand known for exceptional quality, thoughtful design, and clothing created to accompany childhood's most meaningful moments.

Our Commitment to Your Baby’s Safety

Nothing matters to us more than your baby’s safety and comfort. Every Nellapima garment is made in Peru, and each export carries a Certificate of Origin. Our children’s products are designed and tested to comply with applicable CPSIA requirements. When required, testing is performed by CPSC-accepted third-party laboratories.
The CPSIA sets strict limits to protect little ones from harmful substances such as lead. By holding every garment to those standards and documenting the testing through CPSC accepted labs, we make sure each Nellapima piece is exactly what it promises to be. That way you get peace of mind, and your baby gets the safest, softest clothing we know how to make.
